National Accountability Bureau or NAB prosecutor will continue arguments in Al Azizia case against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today.
Accountability Court will hear the Al Azizia case against Nawaz Sharif today. However, NAB prosecutor will present the arguments for the second day. The court summoned PML-N chief but he file the appeal seeking hearing exemption for personal reasons. However, Accountability Court Judge Arshad Malik will conduct the proceedings.
Yesterday, court ordered NAB counsel to provide final arguments in Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference against Nawaz Sharif. Accountability Court also gave the questionnaire to Nawaz Sharif under the section 342 of Code of Criminal Procedure.
Wasiq Malik, NAB prosecutor, presented his arguments and said that accused were given fair enough chance before NAB, Supreme Court, and JIT. However, proofs turned out to be false. Mian Nawaz Sharif and relatives’ assets were discovered after Panama Papers arrived.
