The whole Pakistani nation is observing the 83rd Allama Iqbal death anniversary today. People are paying tribute to the national leader and acknowledging his struggle and services regarding the independence of Pakistan.
He was born at Sialkot on November 9, 1877. He was a great philosopher, poet, and thinker who guided Muslim youth of the subcontinent. Armughan-e-Hijaz, Bal-i-Jibril, Payam- i-Mashriq, Zarb-i-Kalim, Bang-i-Dara, and Asrar-e-Khudi are among his best literary work.
His poetic work is admired all over the world and is now translated into English, Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese languages. International scholars from different countries consider him a prominent poet.
He was received the title of Iqbal because of his farsightedness and deep thinking. He took his last breath on April 21, 1938. Each year, Allama Iqbal death anniversary is observed on the same day.
