In a groundbreaking move, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi of Punjab has officially introduced the Online Learner’s Driving Licence App, revolutionizing the licensing procedure within the province. This cutting-edge mobile application, known as the ‘Online Learner Web App,’ set to simplify and expedite the entire licensing process.
Residents can now conveniently submit their applications not only at patrol posts but also at Khidmat Markaz and police headquarters. The Chief Minister lauded the collaborative efforts of IG and PITB officials, emphasizing that the licensing facility will be readily accessible at patrol posts, service centers, and police stations.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Mohsin Naqvi stated, “Now citizens will be able to acquire a learning driving licence from the comfort of their homes through the learner’s driving licence app.” Furthermore, he announced that learner’s driving licence services would be available at the front desk of police stations.
The recently launched internet-based system boasts a user-friendly interface, enabling residents to apply for licences without the hassle of long queues. This upgrade marks a significant leap in efficiency and user-friendliness compared to the outdated 2003 system.
Effective from this Monday, the Punjab government is extending online renewal services for regular driving licences, duplicate licenses, and international licences through the Punjab police application. This service expansion aims to cater to the needs of residents across the entire province.
