Accountability Court judge Najmul Hasan heard the case. However, he announced the verdict after the hearing of arguments from both side.
NAB requested the Shahbaz Sharif physical remand for 14 days. However, after accepting the request court granted the physical remand for 10 days.
Earlier, Shahbaz Sharif was taken to the Accountability Court in the strict security. However, Amjad Pervez and Azam Nazeer Tarar represented him.
Yesterday, NAB arrested Shahbaz Sharif due to the corruption in Ashiana Housing Scheme. Lahore Development Authority (LDA) former director general Ahad Cheema also accused in the case. However, he and former principal secretary to deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Fawad Hasan Fawad are also remanded into NAB custody.
However, Fawad Hasan Fawad named Shehbaz Sharif in the statement before the NAB and also provided the evidence against them.
