In a fervent call to action, Asifa Bhutto Zardari passionately urged the public to rally behind her brother, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, as the eagerly anticipated elections approach on Feb 8.
Speaking at a vibrant public gathering in Karachi’s Ibrahim Haidari, Asifa emphasized the pivotal role of voting for the distinctive arrow symbol on Feb 8, asserting its significance for a brighter future. Under the dynamic leadership of the PPP, she pledged a host of benefits, including health cards, free electricity up to 300 units per month, doubled salaries, and top-notch healthcare.
Asifa Bhutto Zardari implored voters to amplify Bilawal’s voice and ensure his success, urging them to be active participants in shaping the destiny of the nation. Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari candidly recalled a crucial moment, stating, “We didn’t contemplate the consequences while enjoying a cup of tea in Kabul,” alluding to former spymaster Lt-Gen Faiz Hameed’s visit to the Afghan capital post the Taliban’s takeover in August 2021.
Addressing the decision to invite terrorists to settle in Karachi and Fata, Bilawal criticized the PTI government’s approach in holding peace talks with the Taliban (TTP). He characterized this move as disastrous for the country, emphasizing the repercussions of allowing them to resettle in Pakistan.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari warned about terrorism’s resurgence in Ratodero, Larkana. Despite sacrifices, he’s concerned about terrorists gaining strength. He pointed out that weapons used in Afghanistan are now used within Pakistan.
As the nation stands at a critical juncture, Asifa and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari call upon the public to embrace change and cast their votes on Feb 8 for a future defined by progress, security, and prosperity.
