He also questioned the nature of the documents being photocopies. He objected and said that photocopies cannot be made part of court’s record as per Pakistan’s Qanun-e-Shahadat Order, 1984.

The defence lawyer, Amjad said that the report by Rehman Malik is not authentic. He added that even Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) did not accept that report.

Amjad Pervez further argued that Nawaz Sharif is not linked to the London Flats himself. He said that it was not proven by anyone that Nawaz was beneficiary owner of the flats. Pervez informed court that even though there are links of the Sharif Family in the flats, but Nawaz himself has not occupied the flats since 1993.

After which the court ordered prosecution star witness and head of JIT Wajid Zia to appear in court on 3rd July. Zia was summoned to court for the next reference, Al-Azizia Steel Mills case. The court then adjourned itself till 2nd of July.
