Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar gave additional 45 days to complete Bani Gala encroachment case survey.
CJP Saqib Nisar gave additional survey time in Bani Gala encroachment case as he accepted Survey of Pakistan’s request. However, he gave the additional time of 45 days to complete the encroachment survey.
In today’s hearing, Deputy Surveyor General Noor Illahi, elaborated Supreme Court that 4.5 kilometers of area is surveyed. However, 17.5 kilometers area is still pending.
Noor Illahi asked the court to give extra 45 days time for survey completion. The court accepted the request and directed to complete the survey within the assigned time. Later, the hearing was adjourned till Tuesday.
A year ago, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) elaborated court that in excess of 100 structures in Bani Gala, including Imran Khan’s home are illegal.
However, the case depends on a suo motu notice which started from Imran Khan’s appeal to looking for the court’s intercession to stem unlawful development in Bani Gala.
