Tax Rates for Wedding Halls in Karachi
For halls located in the central districts of Karachi—West, Central, and East—the tax slabs are as follows:
- Rs. 30,000 for gatherings exceeding 500 guests
- Rs. 20,000 for up to 500 guests
- Rs. 10,000 for 300 guests
- Rs. 5,000 for 150 guests
Meanwhile, wedding halls in Korangi and Malir districts charged slightly lower rates to accommodate regional differences:
- Rs. 25,000 for gatherings exceeding 500 guests
- Rs. 15,000 for up to 500 guests
- Rs. 7,500 for 300 guests
- Rs. 5,000 for 150 guests
