Nawaz Sharif’s wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz passed away on Tuesday in London.
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz was under treatment at London’s Harley Street Clinic since June 2014.
She was placed on life support earlier today as her health deteriorated last night.
According to the sources at the Harley Street Clinic, Kulsoom Nawaz had developed a lungs problem again.
The former premier’s wife, who has been undergoing cancer treatment at the clinic in London, was taken off ventilator last month.
The sources said, “She had been responding well without the ventilator until last night.”
Earlier, Sharif family has confirmed that Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is critical and appealed for prayers.
Kulsoom Nawaz was admitted to the hospital on June 14 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz was diagnosed with lymphoma (throat) cancer in August 2017.
