Malik Faizan Raza, a student of Government High School No. 1 Shahkot, ranked third in BISE Lahore in the Science Group (Boys) and got 1186 out of 1200 maximum points in the recently announced Punjab Board 10th Result 2025.
Faizan is a son of a local vegetables seller. He was able to score the first rank in Lahore Board results even though he was facing financial issues. His result evoked concern throughout Punjab and the social media.
He attributed his success to encouragement by teachers and the continuous support of his parents. After receiving results, Faizan was interviewed and he said, “My teachers always helped me and my parents walked with me all the way.”
The principal of this school was pleased with the performance of Faizan and pointed out how it was important to aid students who belong to low-income families so as to enable them to achieve their potential.
