Karachi: PMD revealed that light rain in Pakistan is expected on Thursday (today).
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), light rain in Pakistan along with breezy weather is expected in different cities. However, rain in Pakistan will be take place in Islamabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad in Punjab.
In Sindh, rain is expected in Sukkur, Hyderabad and Mirpur Khas. In Balochistan, rain is expected in Zhob and Kalat. However, rain is also expected in Kashmir and different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
On August 13 (Monday), the heavy rainfall along with stormy winds hit different areas of Mansehra and Islamabad. In addition, Shakargarh and Nakyal in Narowal district and Azad Kashmir’s Mirpur were also hit by the rain.
In general, weather of Pakistan’s north and northwest began to transition from summer to winter.
