Online registration of overseas Pakistanis for by-election 2018 will begin from today.

Overseas Pakistanis can participate in by-election 2018 as registration began from September 1 and will open till 15th.

Nadeem Qasim, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) spokesman, said that overseas Pakistanis can cast votes in by-election 2018 through passports. However, the by-election for 26 provincial assembly and 11 National Assembly seats will held on October 14.

ECP launched specific website i-voting that assists overseas Pakistanis to cast vote online.

Registration process for overseas Pakistanis

A two step process is necessary for the online registration. As per the ECP standards of overseas voting, qualified voters ought to have a legitimate National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), substantial Machine Readable Passport (MRP), and a legitimate email address.
