Chaman: Awami National Party (ANP) leader Daud Khan Achakzai was injured after unknown persons opened fire on him.
ANP leader Daud Khan Achakzai got injured after some gunmen opened fire on him. Levies officials revealed that the incident took place at Alizai, Qilla Abdullah, Northwest Balochistan.
He is the central vice president of ANP and visited Zmrak Khan Achakzai’s residence at Chaman. However, Zamrak is contesting Pakistan Election 2018 from PB-21.
Gunmen immediately ran away from the incident site. Daud Khan Achakzai was later moved to Quetta for the treatment. In addition, Police later cordoned off the area and started the search operation.
It is the fourth major major terrorism incident before the General Election 2018. On July 13, a blast hit Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader Nawabzada Siraj Raisani convoy in Mastung. However, he and 128 others lost their lives in an unfortunate incident.
On the same day, JUI-F and MMA leader Akram Khan Durrani convoy hit by an explosion and 4 people died while many are injured.
However, A few days back, ANP leader Haroon Bilour and 21 others died in a suicide blast at Peshawar.
