Chilly Siberian winds gripped the city bringing the temperature in the metropolis down by 3°C as compared to Thursday.
The chilly Siberian winds in Karachi are blowing at 14 kmph and the temperature at 8 am was recorded at 16°C.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the temperature is expected to fall to 11°C.
Temperature will remain dry and cold over the next 24 hours in the city, the PMD added.
A day earlier, the Met Office had said that Siberian winds will grip the city this weekend.
