Chilly Siberian winds gripped the city bringing the temperature in the metropolis down by 3C as compared to Thursday.
The chilly Siberian winds in Karachi are blowing at 14 kmph and the temperature at 8 am was recorded at 16C.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the temperature is expected to fall to 11C.
Temperature will remain dry and cold over the next 24 hours in the city, the PMD added.
A day earlier, the Met Office had said that Siberian winds will grip the city this weekend.
