Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah confirmed a compensation of Rs 10 million for the families of the deceased. The CM announced that the government will begin distributing these funds tomorrow to provide immediate support.
During a high-level meeting on the Gul Plaza fire, Shah described the incident as a catastrophic event for the city. He confirmed that the death toll has sadly reached 15, while 65 people remain missing. Rescue teams and firefighters are currently pushing into the structure from three different points to trace those still unaccounted for.
