KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the clashes between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed deep concern for the unlawful unrest that took place in the city last night. He also said that PPP had requested permission to hold a rally in the Hakeem Saeed ground.
He also condemned the action of PTI workers to took over the venue forcefully. CM Sindh also believes that PTI leadership should have acted sensibly to sort out the matter peacefully. Violent clashes before the elections are a worrisome situation for Karachi.
He also said that, “We have not stopped anyone from holding rallies,” he added.
CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed that this was a conspiracy to consciously worsen the law and order situation of Karachi.
“We will not allow politics being conducted through fighting or denting the city’s peace,” he stressed.
He was expressing his verdict on Monday evening incident that took place between the workers clash of PTI and PPP for the same venue of Hakeem Saeed ground in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. The incident left many people injured, and parked vehicles were also damaged.
