COAS General Bajwa says Pakistan China Relations Based on Trust


RAWALPINDI: Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission General Zhang Youxia met COAS General Bajwa at Rawalpindi GHQ.

According to the military’s media wing ISPR, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa met up with the Chinese Officer at the Rawalpindi GHQ. General Bajwa said that the Pakistan-China relationships are based on trust and understanding.

After the meeting, delegation level talks occurred between the two military leaders.

The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral defence cooperation. Pakistani and Chinese military leaders also also signed Memorandums of Understanding for improved bilateral Defence cooperation.

The Chinese military leader also laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay homage to the martyrs of Pakistan Army.

Pakistan China relationships have only increased after CPEC project’s announcement. With China helping us where US had abandoned, providing us aid after US had cut it off. China has also given us loans and is helping our industrial sector with their technology.
