Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani on Saturday (today).
COAS meets Qatari foreign minister and discussed different regional security issues. According to ISPR, Matters of mutual interest including regional security issues are discussed.
COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan will continue its positive contribution towards the regional peace. Qatari FM appreciated and acknowledged Pakistan’s achievements in the fight against the terrorism. In addition, he also praised efforts for stability and peace in the region.
Earlier, FM Qureshi meets Qatari FM where both discussed matters pertaining to mutual interest and bilateral relations.
Qatar visa center in Pakistan for workers will be also opened soon. However, Pakistan will be among the eight countries where the visa center for workers will be opened.
Qatar visa center in Pakistan will make sure the elimination of exploitative practices and Pakistani workers will have their rights protected. However, there are around 115,000 Pakistanis in Qatar and new job opportunities will increase this number.
