The Eid al-Fitr prayer, a significant ritual of this auspicious occasion, was conducted at the Tahiri Mosque. To ensure the safety of the attendees, stringent security measures were implemented in and around the mosque premises. The deployment of Police and Rangers personnel further fortified the security arrangements.
In the context of the Shawwal moon sighting, it’s noteworthy that there’s a high likelihood of its visibility in Pakistan today. This celestial event holds the key to the commencement of Eid al-Fitr.
Contrastingly, in Saudi Arabia, the Shawwal moon remained elusive, pushing the Eid al-Fitr celebrations to Wednesday.
