Earthquake in Karachi Today; No Casualties Reported

Tremors of a mild earthquake were felt in Quaidabad, the eastern part of Karachi, in the wee hours on Thursday. According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake occurred at 1:44 AM with a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale.

Area residents reported the tremors, prompting many to leave their homes in fear. The earthquake’s epicenter was located south of Malir, with a depth of 10 kilometers.

There are no reports of any casualties or property damage due to the earthquake in Karachi. Emergency response teams remain on alert, although no official warning of aftershocks have been issued so far.

Earlier this month, a series of tremors with short intervals perturbed the residents of Malir and Quaidabad. The authorities concerned said that it was due to tectonic activity as Karachi’s parts, including Landhi and Thana Bola Khan, are on the fault line.

Karachi earthquake news and recent tremors in Pakistan remain trending search terms as public interest in earthquake alerts and real-time seismic updates continues to grow.
