ISLAMABAD: ECP has released asset details of PTI Chief Imran Khan.
ECP released asset details, declared in the nomination papers of Imran Khan for elections 2018. According to the details, his assets are worth more than Rs3.8 million.
Imran earned Rs Rs4,776,611 last year from bank profits, investments and agricultural lands.
The PTI chairman also filed Rs303,763 in taxes last year. He also owns agricultural land of 168 acres.
Imran has traveled abroad only once this year, which was a three day trip United Kingdom. The trip had cost Rs240,000 in total to the former cricketer.
He has also stated that he does not own any business abroad or in the country. He owns 14 properties in Pakistan only and no other property in any foreign country.
In the documents Imran’s wife, Bushra Bibi’s assets are not included as they recently got married in 2018. Imran Khan’s two sons from Jemima Khan, Qasim and Sulaiman, have been listed as not financially dependent.
A returning officer for NA-53 had rejected PTI Chairman’s nomination papers. He had cited the reason to be failing to properly fill out the affidavit that was to be submit with nomination papers.
Imran Khan, however; has appealed in the appellate tribunal against the rejection of his nomination. He has said that the rejection is unconstitutional.
