Federal minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry gave his prediction about the possible Eid ul Adha 2020 date in Pakistan in his tweet.
Eid ul Adha 2020 date in Pakistan will be on 31st July. Fawad Chaudhry gave the prediction through his official Twitter account. He wrote that the moon for Zilhajj will be observed in Karachi and adjacent areas on 21st July. He further added that the moon could be sighted with the assistance of binoculars and as well with the naked eye in some areas.?He revealed that the Ruet App can be also used to find the exact location of the moon.
Fawad Chaudhry advocated that the Ministry of Science and Technology took the lead in the moon sighting issue that is mainly caused by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. On the occasion of Eid ul Fitr, he said that 2 moon observatories will be established by next year to permanently resolve the moon sighting conflicts.
