Fake Accounts Case: CM Sindh appeared before NAB today


Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Chief Minister appeared before the NAB or National Accountability Bureau’s Rawalpindi branch on Monday.

In fake accounts case, CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah appeared before NAB today. NAB asked CM Sindh through the notification for the appearance on March 26 at the old NAB headquarters. However, CM Sindh requested to appear a day earlier, that was approved.

Murad Ali Shah also directed to bring along all records related to the Thatta Sugar Mills. However, the investigation is in progress for the fake accounts case and the money laundering case.

On March 20, in fake accounts case, Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also appeared before NAB. However, NAB has summoned both PPP leaders in Park Lane Estate investigation.

PPP chairman Bilawal and his father were questioned by 2 investigation teams comprising 16 NAB officers. However, Zardari was questioned by 11 officers, while 5 officers questioned Bilawal. A questionnaire was also issued to both PPP leaders.
