Flood Alert: India releases up to 200,000 cusecs water into River Sutlej


India increased the aggression towards Pakistan and flood alert is issued by the authorities.

As per the flood alert, India released the 0.15 to 0.2 million cusecs water into the River Sutlej without informing the concerned authorities. Water is expected to release from the Indian Punjab that will spill into the Ganda Singh Wala, near Kasur during the upcoming 12 to 24 hours.

NDMA or National Disaster Management Authority issued the warning. On the other side, India also opened 3 out of 5 spillways of Ladakh Dam that may lead to the flood in nearby areas.

Regarding the possible flood alert, the authorities of Kasur and other districts located near the River Sutlej have been advised to take the essential measures to deal with any emergency.

India is also continuously doing violations along the Line of Control. 2 Pakistani civilians were martyred yesterday in the latest incident of unprovoked firing at LoC. ISPR or Inter-Services Public Relations released the statement that the Indian Army hit the civil population with Anti Tank Guided Missiles and mortars.
