Recently, a UAE-based airline company, flydubai, has released its new daily flight service to Islamabad and Lahore, Pakistan from the 1st of July. These flights will be leaving from terminal 2 of the Dubai International Airport (DXB) to provide more connectivity for passengers between Pakistan and Dubai.
These new routes suggest that the partnership between flydubai and Pakistan is a healthy and growing one. According to Hamad Obaidalla, the CCO at Flydubai, it is worth noting that Pakistan has always been among the key markets of this carrier. Since the flying operation of Flydubai in Pakistan in 2010, travel traffic both the countries has remained consistently high.
The history of Flydubai’s operation to Pakistan began in 2010 when the airline started flying to Karachi. Since then, the airline has grown and now has several major cities in Pakistan in its coverage list. In total, flydubai now offers flight connectivity to seven cities within Pakistan, including the recent additions of Islamabad and Lahore. This comprised of destinations such as Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Sialkot and the oldest route of Karachi.
It is now possible to have daily flights from Islamabad and Lahore to Dubai, and this means that people from these two cities now have easy access not only to the UAE but also to the entire Gulf and beyond. Another advantage is that with the availability of flydubai the people traveling from Pakistan can easily get access to many destinations they have not yet visited.
This expansion is evidence that Flydubai is always striving to create more connections and opportunities for travel. As it grows, it is committed to offering clients the necessary quality of travel services in Pakistan and a feasible link to its network.
