KHAIRPUR: A foreign national who was held in Khairpur prison died of heart attack, according to jail officials.
Its a very common sight that convicts are treated with inhumane behavior by police and wardens at prisons. Many people suffer torture and die by the brutal tactics the peace keepers use. This time however, a foreign national has died due to heart attack in a prison of Pakistan.
The foreigner, Abdullah Pathan, who was an Afghan National, suffered a heart attack, after which he died.
The body of the Afghan national was shifted to Accidents and Emergency ward, KMC Teaching Hospital in Khairpur. The Afghani was in jail for not having proper travel documentation.
