The Sindh Workers Welfare Board has officially opened registration for a new scheme to distribute 10,000 free electric motorcycles to women industrial workers across the province. Applications are being accepted through the board’s official portal at www.wwbsindh.gov.pk.

Eligible applicants must be women between the ages of 20 and 45 who are employed in registered industrial establishments. They must be registered with either the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) or the Sindh Employees’ Social Security Institution (SESSI). A 20% quota is reserved for women belonging to minority communities.

Free Electric Bike Scheme Sindh Requirements
Those who will be chosen in the digital draw will have 60 days to acquire a valid driving license of the motorbikes. The license is a required, compulsory need in the ultimate delivery of the electric motorcycle. After obtaining the motorcycle, it is mandatory that a beneficiary keeps the motorcycle at least 7 years without being able to sell or transfer the motorcycle.
This project aims at offering safe, respectable, and economical transport to the women workers of the industrial sector of the province of Sindh. The program is meant to cut down the commuting expenses, facilitate workforce and provide an environment friendly solution in transport.
