The Punjab government has kicked off an exhilarating opportunity for citizens to secure unique and attractive numbers for their new motorcycles and cars through an online auction.
The initiative, led by the Punjab Excise and Taxation Department, began its registration process on January 1. The e-auction App and Web Portal, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), are facilitating the entire process. The bidding phase for three distinct series is scheduled to commence on January 11, 21, and February 1, respectively.
Enthusiasts looking to personalize their commercial vehicles are also in luck, as the registration for the auction of the new series for commercial vehicles started on January 1. The online bidding action for commercial vehicle numbers will officially begin on January 21.
PITB Chairman, Faisal Yousaf, expressed his excitement, stating that citizens can easily participate in the bidding process from the comfort of their homes by using the user-friendly e-Auction Mobile App.
