Islamabad: Government ordered to ban VIP Protocol at airports in all over the country.

Government banned VIP Protocol at airports given by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to influential persons. The decision is effective from August 26 after Interior Ministry ordered to all officials that are concerned of the FIA.

However, the VIP protocol at airports was normally utilized by journalists, military officials, judges, senior bureaucrats, legislators, and politicians.


Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that they have chosen to entirely execute the choice to give rise to chances to all passengers with no segregation. He includes that move will be made against authorities seen giving exceptional treatment to any person.

It had been watched that persuasive individuals were given VIP convention at airplane terminals so they could abstain from remaining in long lines and get cleared their baggage with no hustle.

Fawad Chaudhry said that they have seen that persuasive individuals used to look for help of FIA authorities at airplane terminals who (authorities) went with them to quickly clear their baggage.

Interior Ministry coordinated with FIA that no administration official or different VIPs would be given convention at air terminals the nation over. However, any FIA official, if discovered offering convention to a VIP, would confront strict activity.
