Haroon Bilour Funeral prayers will be offered at 5:00 pm today (Wednesday) in Peshawar.
Haroon Bilour, the leader of the Awami National Party (ANP), son of Bashir Bilour, martyred on Tuesday night. He will be buried at the Wazir Bagh Graveyard. Mr. Bilour has left behind two sons and a widow to grieve his demise.
Haroon Bilour among 10 others were martyred and more than 30 others were injured in a suicide assault in Yaka Toot region of Peshawar. The body of Haroon Bilour has been moved to his house from Lady Reading Hospital.
A suicide bomber detonated his vest not long after Haroon Bilour arrived in Yaka Toot area to address a corner meeting of his Election campaign on Tuesday night. Haroon Bilour was ANP contender for the up and coming general polls for Provincial assembly seat PK-78.
After the suicide attack, Haroon Bilour got critically injured and was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Lawyer Haroon Bilour was the son of Bashir Ahmed Bilour, who also was martyred in a suicide blast carried out on him in Qissa Khawani Bazaar in December 2012, and nephew of another ANP eminent leader Ghulam Ahmed Bilour.
A list of all those killed in the explosion has also been released, however, two bodies have yet to be identified.
Aside from Haroon Bilour, others killed in the explosion have been identified as Asif Khan, 28, Muhammad Shoaib, 19, Muhammad Naeem, Yaseen, Haji Muhammad Gul, 45, Najeeb Ullah, 20, Abid Ullah, 30, Huzaifa, 12, Arif Hussain, 25, Akhtar Gul, 18, Imran, 30, Rizwan, Zameer Khan, Israr, Sameen, Sadiq, Khan Muhammad, 30.
