According to PMD or Pakistan Meteorological Department, the new spell of rain is expected from 9 August to 12 August.
Heavy rain in Karachi can hit the city from tomorrow. However, the huge rainfall can also cause the urban flooding in the city. The monsoon low pressure is created over North Bay of Bengal and adjacent areas that is likely to reach Gujrat (India) on August 9.
Later, the system will reach Pakistan and will cause rain in Karachi, Thar, Thatta, Hyderabad, Badin, and Mirpurkhas. On the other side, scattered rain is also expected in Larkana and Sukkur.
PMD further revealed that the heavy rainfall may result in the urban flooding in Karachi, Badin, Thatta, and Hyderabad. A few days back, around 20 people died in the monsoon spell that hit Karachi.
