National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on August 7 in helicopter misuse case.
According to sources, NAB ordered Imran Khan to appear on August 7 in helicopter misuse case. However, NAB officials revealed that Imran Khan misused Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s helicopters for 74 hours. They also said that it did the loss of Rs 2.1 million to the national fund.
Earlier, Imran Khan requested to delay the hearing of helicopter misuse case as he was busy in Pakistan Election 2018.
His counsel Babar Awan said that Imran Khan is currently busy in General Election 2018 campaign and his appearance in person before the NAB somehow difficult. However, he assured that the PTI chairman would appear before NAB on priority basis right after the elections 2018. Babar Awan further requested that if NAB could give the next date of case hearing on August 7.
