Houses will be developed for KCR affectees, Sheikh Rasheed

Government will construct houses for KCR affectees as revealed by the federal Railway Minister.

Karachi Circular Railway or KCR affectees will get houses as federal railway minister Sheikh Rasheed revealed it during the meeting with CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah. He said that government will build houses for people who disturbed in Karachi circular Railway project and anti-encroachment drive in city.

According to press relase of CM house the Federal minister and Chief Minister of Sindh met at CM house in which Murad Ali Shah brief the Federal Minister about encroachment drive alongside of KCR route. He said that encroachment on 33 kilometers area have been removed out of 38 kilometers whereas only 5 kilometers left.

Railway minister gives promise maximum cooperation to started KCR project at earliest. And also give assured that government build houses for the people who disturbed during encroachment drive for KCR project and reassure their support for their restoration wherever possible on the land of railway. Chief Minister informs Sheikh Rasheed that 40 percent share of this project owned by Sindh government still had not been handover to the government.

The Karachi Circular Project route begin from Wazir Mansion. Different areas such as Lyari, Shah Abdul Latif, Manghopir, Orangabad, Liaquatabad, Gilani, Alladin Park, Drigh Road, Shaheed-eMillat, Karachi Cantt, Tower, etc, will be covered.
