Under the ‘CM Punjab Apni Chat Apna Ghar’ initiative, over 3,000 homes will constructed in each district of Punjab. The scheme’s initial focus will be on five key cities: Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, and Rawalpindi, with Lahore slated to see 5,000 homes constructed near Raiwind Road during the first phase. The project aims to offer affordable, permanent residences with a 60% government subsidy on the total cost of Rs. 1.5 million per apartment. Residents will only need to pay 40% of the cost, manageable in monthly instalments of Rs. 26,000 over five years.
