Who Can Apply for the Aaghosh Program?
Pregnant women and mothers of children under two years old living in the following districts are eligible for financial assistance:
- Dera Ghazi Khan, Taunsa, Rajanpur, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu
- Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab, Lodhran
How to Apply for Rs 23,000 Under Aaghosh Program?
Step 1: Visit the Nearest Health Center
Pregnant women must visit a government health center or a Maryam Health Clinic to register for the program.
Step 2: Get Registered
At the health center, provide CNIC and pregnancy details for registration. Upon first registration, Rs 2,000 will be provided.
Step 3: Attend Medical Check-ups
Women must attend regular medical check-ups at the health center. For each visit, Rs 1,500 will be given, up to Rs 6,000 in total.
Step 4: Receive Financial Aid After Childbirth
Upon delivery at a registered health center, a Rs 4,000 grant will be provided.
Step 5: Newborn’s First Medical Check-up and Birth Certificate
- Rs 2,000 will be given after the baby’s first medical check-up (within 15 days).
- Rs 5,000 will be provided upon registering the child’s birth certificate at the health center.
Step 6: Get Financial Aid for Vaccinations
- Rs 2,000 per vaccination will be provided, with a total of Rs 4,000 for newborn immunization.
How to Receive Payments?
After completing check-ups, payments can be collected from Aaghosh Program cash agents at designated centers.
