Key Points:
- The plan is active from November 19 to November 22, 7 AM to 7 PM daily.
- Commuters are advised to follow instructions and cooperate with traffic police.
According to the plan, several key roads near the exhibition venue will remain closed from morning until 7 PM daily. Roads leading from the National Stadium to Hasan Square will be completely off-limits for regular traffic. Similarly, vehicles traveling from Shahrah-e-Faisal will not be allowed to access Karsaz Road, while heavy traffic will be restricted between Millennium Mall and Stadium Road.
Commuters using NIPA Chowrangi as a route to Hasan Square will also face restrictions. Heavy and commercial vehicles heading from Jail Chowrangi towards Hasan Square will be diverted to Teen Hatti and Shaheed-e-Millat Road. Those traveling from Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hasan Square are advised to use NIPA Chowrangi to reach Shahrah-e-Faisal.
The traffic plan will stay in effect until November 22, with heavy vehicles only permitted to travel between Shahrah-e-Faisal and NIPA Chowrangi during this time. Authorities have urged citizens to follow the alternate routes to avoid delays and cooperate with traffic police for a hassle-free experience.
This traffic management effort is part of the city’s strategy to ensure that the international defence exhibition proceeds smoothly while minimizing disruption for daily commuters. Karachiites are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated with real-time traffic alerts during the event.
