Family Confirms Imran Khan is Alive

Speculations about Imran Khan death circulated widely. On Tuesday, these rumors ended when he met his wife and sister at Adiala Jail. Azmi Khan told journalists that, Alhamdulillah, Imran Khan is alive and in good health. She added he appeared angry due to mental harassment.

The meeting lasted about 20 minutes. Imran Khan said he spends most of the day confined to his room and is allowed out only briefly. Bushra Bibi, his wife, is reportedly kept in solitary confinement.

Meeting Arrangements at Adiala Jail

Early Tuesday morning, Imran Khan’s sisters—Alima Khanum, Noreen Niazi, and Azmi Khan—arrived at the jail but were initially stopped by police. Later, jail officials allowed a meeting specifically approved under Azmi Khan’s name.

Azmi Khan said she will provide detailed statements after consulting her sisters. She emphasized that the former Prime Minister’s health is stable despite the challenging conditions.

Azmi Khan also confirmed that Hamid Khan and Salman Akram Raja will be nominated for upcoming Bar Council elections.
