Field Marshal Asim Munir has accused India of promoting hybrid warfare through the use of terrorist groups. He made these remarks while addressing participants of the National Workshop Balochistan, which included civil servants, academics, and professionals from various sectors.
According to ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir stated that India’s support for terrorist elements aimed at disrupting the unity of the people of Balochistan. Terrorists do not represent any religion, sect, or ethnicity and called for national unity and collective resolve to counter terrorism, he added.
He further said that the “Fitna-e-Khawarij” and “Fitna-e-Hindustan” are components of India’s proxy war, which has intensified after military setbacks. He added that these proxy operations will meet the same outcome as India’s past failures.
Army Chief also spoke about the importance of continuous development projects in Balochistan and, constitutionally, national progress, associated with the coordination of institutions and integrated planning. He repeated that Pakistan wants peace in the region but underlined that national security as well as sovereignty is safeguarded against both internal and external aggression by all means.
The session concluded with a Q&A, during which Field Marshal Asim Munir responded to questions from the audience and acknowledged their input.
