Pakistan Army’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has issued a strong warning to India over potential water blockage. ISPR Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated in an interview that if India attempts to stop Pakistan’s water, the response will carry long-lasting consequences for generations. He emphasized that no rational actor would consider cutting off water for over 240 million people.
India Sponsoring Terrorism in Pakistan, Says DG ISPR
Speaking to Arab media, DG ISPR accused India of actively sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan. He revealed that Indian-backed terrorists have targeted mosques, children, women, and the elderly. “We have irrefutable evidence, and in response to India’s aggression, Pakistan has released a detailed dossier exposing Indian involvement in terror activities,” he added.
Pakistan’s Diplomacy Gains Momentum
In response to India’s false narratives and propaganda, Pakistan has launched a robust international diplomatic campaign.
- Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is scheduled to begin a two-day visit to China today.
- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Iran next week.
- A delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will visit the U.S. and Europe to further highlight India’s destabilizing actions.
Pakistan Reiterates Peaceful Intentions but Prepared for Response
Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif stressed that Pakistan remains committed to peace and regional stability. “We honor all agreements and maintain the ceasefire, but any violation will be met with a swift and firm response,” he said. He confirmed that India’s sixth downed aircraft was a Mirage 2000 and that Pakistan only targeted military objectives, avoiding escalation despite having the capability.
Indian Aggression in Kashmir Exposed
The DG ISPR also criticized India’s failed Kashmir policy, stating that attempts to present the region as an internal matter have collapsed. “Unless India engages in sincere dialogue, the Kashmir conflict will remain unresolved, and the threat of escalation will persist,” he said.
India Fired Missiles to Intimidate, But Pakistan Remains Unshaken
In a separate interview with an international media outlet, DG ISPR confirmed that India launched additional missile attacks on the nights of May 9 and 10 in an attempt to intimidate Pakistan. “But India forgets – the Pakistani nation and its armed forces neither bow nor can they be forced to,” he asserted.
The recent developments underscore growing tensions between Pakistan and India, particularly over water issues and cross-border terrorism. Pakistan’s proactive diplomatic outreach and evidence-based response aim to bring global attention to the region’s volatile situation. As the situation unfolds, the international community watches closely, hoping for de-escalation through dialogue.
