Indian Fisherman Rescued by Pakistan Navy Soldiers and Engineers


12 Indian fishermen who got stranded were given assistance by Pakistan Navy. The boat had been stranded for 8 days before they received help.

The boat that the Indian fishermen were on had developed some engine faults after which they had been stranded there. The fishermen were there for eight days without food and first aid when and had been trying to contact authorities for help.

Pakistan Navy after receiving the SOS from the boat had gone to rescue them. The navy provided the starving fishermen with food and first aid. The PNS Alamgir Technical team fixed boat’s engine after which it was functional to go back to the port.

The Indian fishermen thanked the Pakistan Navy and even chanted ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans as appreciation.
