Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman reached Wagah border for release


Abhinandan Varthaman, the captured Indian pilot reached at Wagah border on Friday (today).

Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman reached Wagah border as Pakistan released him as a peace gesture. He will be handed over to the Indian officials. Several people had already gathered on the Indian side early Friday to welcome the pilot home.

Yesterday, PM Imran Khan announced to release the Indian pilot Abhinandan. However, he was captured as Pakistan shot down 2 Indian aircrafts on Wednesday.

PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK.

On Tuesday, Indian aircraft invaded the Line of Control but forced to return after the timely response by Pakistan Air Force.

Earlier this month, Pulwama attack resulted in the death of 44 Indian soldiers. Since, India is blaming Pakistan for the terrorist attack.
