Esteemed classical dancer and social media influencer, Sheema Kermani, has revealed plans for a protest fair at the upcoming Women’s March. The event is scheduled for March 8 at Frere Hall in Karachi, marking a significant addition to this year’s proceedings.
Kermani expressed her excitement about the participation of women from Balochistan, describing it as a revolutionary step. Among the participants is Sammi Baloch, whose presence is eagerly anticipated.
A highlight of the event, as shared by Pastor Ghazala Shafiq, will be a dedicated session on the unfortunate Jaranwala incident. This platform will allow the affected women to recount their experiences, providing a poignant insight into their struggles.
Echoing the tradition of previous years, social activist Muneeza Ahmed confirmed that post-session, the attendees will march through the streets. This act of solidarity serves as a powerful conclusion to the Women’s March protest fair.
