Pakistan People Party (PPP) leader and MPA Sohail Anwar Siyal submitted the reply on his disqualification plea in iqama case.
In Iqama case, Sohail Anwar Siyal submitted reply in SHC on the disqualification petition. However, the plea objected about his holding of work permit (Iqama).
Sindh High Court two member bench led by Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar heard petitions. Manzoor Wassan, Faryal Talpur, and Sohail Anwar Siyal are blamed for holding iqamas of different countries without the disclosure. However, they did not disclose any such thing in the nomination forms.
During the hearing, Abdullah Hunjra, Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) law officer submitted the reply in the court. The counsel of petitioner, Shamsul Islam revealed that they are ready to conduct the case against Siyal and Faryal.
Later, the hearing on petitions was adjourned till the 25th October.
