Accountability Court reserved its verdict on National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) petition to auction the former finance minister Ishaq Dar assets.
Accountability Court today reserved the verdict for Ishaq Dar assets auction in Pakistan. However, after hearing of the anti-graft body’s arguments, the court reserved petition’s verdict.
However, NAB filed the petition after Ishaq Dar went to London for the medical examination and not came back for the hearing of corruption cases against him.
Last month, the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the removal of Ishaq Dar as chairman of UHS board of governors. However, he heard a suo motu case of the administrative crisis in University of Health Sciences (UHS).
CJP Saqib Nisar said that the Punjab government should appoint the new chairman of UHS board of governors within three days. He remarked that as per rules, the meeting of UHS board of governors should be held after every 2 years.
