Jam Kamal Khan became Balochistan Chief Minister


Quetta: Jam Jamal Khan got elected as the new CM Balochistan.

Jam Kamal Khan became Balochistan Chief Minister as the Balochistan Assembly members elected him for the post. He got 39 votes while his opponent Mir Yunas Aziz Zehri received just 20 votes.

Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, newly elected Balochistan Assembly Speaker lead the assembly session. Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) candidate Mir Yunas Aziz Zehri and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) President Jam Kamal Khan contested for the post of CM Balochistan.

Mir Yunas Aziz Zehri had a support of MMA and BNP Mengal. While, Jam Kamal Khan was nominated by BAP and allied Parties. However, he was in a strong position to become CM Balochistan. Jam Kamal will take the oath of his post at Quetta Governor House tomorrow on 5pm.

Earlier, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo from BAP and Sardar Babar Musa Khel from PTI became Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Balochistan Assembly respectively.
