Last night, Karachi witnessed a tragic and powerful explosion right near the airport, shaking up the whole city. Investigative sources say it was a suicide attack, where a bomber rammed a car packed with explosives straight into a convoy of foreigners. The target was clear, and the bomber had been waiting for just the right moment. As soon as the convoy passed by, the bomber hit one of the cars, causing a huge explosion that destroyed it completely.
People nearby were in shock, and after the explosion, one of the cars in the convoy tried to reverse, but the damage was already done. There was a large amount of explosives used, causing damage to several vehicles, and making it a chaotic scene. Right now, investigators are still gathering details about the destroyed cars and trying to piece together what happened.
In response, a special team has been put together to investigate the explosion. This team, formed on the orders of IG Sindh, includes bomb disposal squads from different zones like East, South, and West, all working together to figure out how such a tragic event happened and to prevent future incidents.
Adding to the tragedy, Jinnah Hospital reported that three bodies were brought in after the explosion. Two of them were foreigners, while the third was a resident whose identity is still unknown. The blast killed three people and injured 17 others, making it one of the deadliest attacks Karachi has seen in a while.
