Karachi, Pakistan‘s economic capital, weather is very hot nowadays, and temperatures top 40 degrees sometimes. Looking at the present months, the heat is to be expected but worsened because of the high relative humidity. However, there is a flicker of hope of getting a break. About the later part in the evening or at night, according to the forecast of the Met Office, minimal shower is expected in the burning city.
Northwesterly winds are blowing at about 13 km/h and no sea breeze which, is making the heat even worse. The Pakistan Meteorological Department PMD has said that now Sindh will face hot and humid weather while Karachi, Sukkur, and many other cities will face isolated rains.
The better news is that monsoon winds should arrive in Sindh on and from July 19 and 20 and this will more particularly help farmers in the rural areas. This might help to reduce heat on Thursday and Friday with westerly winds predicted with chances of keeping off the heat. The people of Karachi will soon be able to find relief from the scorching heat if a slight variation in the temperature is considered.
