The Pakistan Meteorological Department confirmed that Karachi remains under a cold wave. The lowest temperature this year touched 6.6 degrees Celsius at Jinnah International Terminal. This stands as Karachi’s lowest temperature in 2026 so far.

Several areas also reported single-digit lows. Gulistan-e-Johar and Shahrah-e-Faisal recorded around 9 degrees Celsius. Mauripur stayed close to 10 degrees, while Bin Qasim dipped to 10.5 degrees Celsius. These readings show how widespread the cold has become across the city.

The Met Office expects dry weather and cold nights to continue over the next 24 hours. Minimum temperatures may range between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures may rise to 24 degrees Celsius.

Humidity stands near 44 percent. Northeasterly winds blow at around 7 kilometers per hour. These winds continue to pull colder air into Karachi.
