In a groundbreaking move to enhance public transportation in Karachi, the Sindh government has introduced the eagerly awaited “People’s Bus Service.” This innovative addition to the city’s transportation network aims to provide efficient and easily accessible transit options for residents.
Key Features:
The People’s Bus Service boasts air-conditioned red buses, each equipped with approximately 40 comfortable seats, including dedicated areas for women. To ensure inclusivity, there is standing room for an additional 40 passengers. With a standard fare of PKR 50 on most routes, the exception being Route 9, which charges PKR 100 after Malir Halt, this service aims to be affordable for all.
Operating Hours:
The buses operate from 7 am to 10 pm, ensuring consistent and reliable service. During peak hours, there is a 15-minute frequency, while off-peak hours maintain a 30-minute headway.
Route 10 Highlights:
Route 10 covers a distance of 27.8 kilometers, connecting Numaish Chowrangi to Ibrahim Hyderi. This route takes passengers through various prominent landmarks and essential destinations, making it a game-changer in Karachi’s public transportation landscape.

Starting from Numaish Chowrangi, Route 10 includes stops at Taj Complex, Capri Cinema, Mobile Market, Regal, Abdullah Haroon, Zainab Market, Fawara Chowk, Metropole, Frere Hall, PSO Head Office, 3 Talwar, Ocean Mall, 2 Talwar, Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazar, Bagh Ibn E Qasim, Dolmen Mall Clifton, Seaview Clock Tower, Khayaban e Ittehad, DHA Phase 7, DHA Phase 6, DHA Phase 2, KPT Interchange, Korangi Crossing, Indus Hospital, CBM University, PARCO, and Ibrahim Hyderi.
