Karachi Roads Reopen Following Iranian President’s Departure

In the wake of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s recent visit to Karachi, the city’s main arteries have begun to pulse with life once more. The previously blocked routes are now accessible, marking the end of the traffic disruptions that had gripped the city.

The Governor House Road, a key route in the city, has resumed its usual rhythm, with vehicles now able to traverse it freely. Similarly, the path from Lucky Star to Shahrah Faisal, another significant thoroughfare, is no longer obstructed.

Furthermore, the route from Metropole Chowrangi to PIDC and Ziauddin Ahmed Road has also been cleared for traffic. These developments have brought much-needed relief to the city’s commuters.

However, it’s not all smooth sailing just yet. Reports indicate that the flyover from Lucky Star to Jinnah Hospital remains closed, a reminder of the recent visit’s impact on the city’s traffic flow.

In a bid to restore normalcy, traffic police have been working diligently to remove the containers that had been placed on the city’s main roads. These containers, a necessary measure during the Iranian President’s visit, had resulted in various roads being blocked off.

The city of Karachi, which had witnessed a significant disruption to its regular traffic flow due to the security measures in place for the Iranian President’s visit, is now gradually returning to its usual bustling self.
